OUR ORAL SURGERY TREATMENTS
From removing a difficult tooth to preparing for an implant, every procedure begins with an examination and any imaging needed for your case.
Assessment and removal of problematic wisdom teeth, including impacted or partly erupted teeth. We explain whether removal is appropriate and discuss the findings from your examination and X-rays.
Removal of teeth that are broken, damaged or difficult to extract, including retained roots. Where a tooth may be saved, we discuss the alternatives before recommending removal.
Assessment and bone grafting where additional support is needed for a planned dental implant. The approach and timing are considered as part of your implant treatment plan.
Exposure of an unerupted tooth when recommended as part of orthodontic care, with treatment coordinated around your orthodontic plan.
Assessment of cysts or unusual areas in the mouth, with removal where suitable. We explain any further investigation or referral that may be needed.

YOUR QUESTIONS
Local anaesthetic numbs the area. You may notice pressure or movement, but tell your dentist if you feel pain so they can pause and check your comfort.
No. A healthy wisdom tooth that is not causing problems may be monitored. We assess the tooth and explain whether treatment or review is more appropriate.
X-rays help us assess the tooth and surrounding structures. A CBCT scan may be recommended in selected cases, such as when a lower wisdom tooth is close to a nerve.
Please tell us when booking. We can discuss your concerns, explain each step and agree how you can ask for a pause during treatment.
This depends on the procedure and your health. Soreness, swelling and jaw stiffness can occur after surgery. We explain what to expect for your case and when to seek advice.
We can discuss suitable replacement options, including implants, as part of your treatment plan. Whether an implant can be placed at the same visit requires an individual assessment.
